Be among the first fans to get tickets to see the United States take on Germany when Fed Cup action returns to sun-kissed Hawaii to kick off the 2017 World Group campaign.
The best-of-five-match tie will take place at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui, Feb. 11-12, 2017. USTA members can purchase exclusive two-day pre-sale tickets for the World Group first-round tie on Wednesday, Nov. 16, and Thursday, Nov. 17.
Two-day ticket packages go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. HST (2 p.m. EST) on Friday, Nov. 18.
Team USA is likely to be led by world No. 8 Madison Keys, while Germany is likely to be led by 2016 US Open champion and current world No. 1 Angelique Kerber.
The U.S.-Germany winner will advance to face either top-seeded and three-time defending champion Czech Republic or Spain in April for a spot in the 2017 final. The losing nation will compete in the World Group Playoffs to remain in the World Group for 2018.
This will be the second consecutive year that Hawaii will host Fed Cup, giving fans the opportunity to see high-quality, world-class tennis in a beautiful setting once again. Hawaii became the 16th state to host this prestigious competition earlier this year when Kailua-Kona held the World Group II First Round against Poland. This is also the first time that a state has hosted consecutive Fed Cup home ties.
Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.usta.com/fedcup or by calling 888-334-USTA (8782).
From Friday, Nov. 18, through Thursday, Jan. 5, only two-day ticket packages will be sold, at prices ranging from $50 to $190 ($25 to $95 per day). Beginning on Friday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. HST, two-day packages will no longer be available.
If available, fans will then have access to single-day tickets for Saturday or Sunday, with prices ranging from $30 to $100 per day. Fans are encouraged to purchase two-day ticket packages, as capacity is limited, and to take advantage of the best prices.
Play begins on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m., with two singles matches. On Sunday, play will continue, starting at 10 a.m., with two reverse singles matches and the doubles match. A revised schedule for Sunday may take place if a team clinches in the third or fourth match.
The U.S. Fed Cup team captain will select the four players to represent the U.S. no later than 10 days prior to the event.
The USTA is also calling for volunteers and ballpersons for this Fed Cup match-up. To apply to be a volunteer, individuals can now visit www.usta.com/fedcup for additional information.
