For more than 40 years, Fromuth Tennis has been supplying tennis shops throughout the country. Now they’ll be working with the country’s largest tennis facility.

Fromuth will operate the tennis pro shop at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., scheduled to open in January 2017, leading all operations, staffing and purchasing to ensure that the new Home of American Tennis offers the latest gear, apparel and equipment.

“Three of our key goals for the USTA National Campus are to be a hub of collaboration and innovation, raise the standard for how tennis is delivered and help develop the next generation of tennis providers – from coaches and tournament directors to pro shop operators,” said Kurt Kamperman, chief executive, Community Tennis and USTA National Campus. “Our partnership with Fromuth Tennis helps us deliver on all three of these important goals.”

Fromuth Tennis is a wholesale distributor of racquet sports equipment and apparel. Since 1972, Fromuth has been supplying tennis pro shops, teams, coaches and stringers in all 50 states with a wide variety of top tennis brands, servicing thousands of tennis retailers every year.

“Operating the pro shop at the USTA National Campus is a great fit for us as we can help train interns and Professional Tennis Management students before they go out into the tennis world and run pro shops, stringing businesses and tennis clubs,” said Pat Shields, president of Fromuth Tennis. “We are thrilled to be a part of the team at the Home of American Tennis. For a company like ours that’s been committed to the tennis industry for over 40 years, this is a huge opportunity to be on the forefront of innovation.”

The innovative USTA National Campus will feature 100 tennis courts, is open to the public and will be able to accommodate every type of tennis competition and program, from youth tennis events to age-based national championships.
