Aimed and making the 2017 USTA League Southern Sectional Championships the best yet, USTA Southern has added a number of new WOW!! factors to this year's event.
Most prominent will be a large air-conditioned tent that will make eating our free lunches and taking a break very relaxing. The tent is 60'x30'-- 1,800 square feet -- will be the site of our lunch tables. It will be located near our A & B site desk on the east side of the Copeland-Cox Mobile Tennis Center, adjacent to the free services of Massage Envy.
Other wow factors in the tent will be two ping-pong tables and our prize wheel. Players who exhibit good sportsmanship will win chances to spin the prize wheel. More on that during the tournament.
The improvements don't stop there. Besides extra signage, two iPads will be centrally located and on waist-high stands. The iPads will be directly linked to the tournament's results page and open to anyone wishing to get scores.
