We are testing a new format and want YOU to be the first to experience it! The format is called Fast4 and we’re adding a twist to make it college football themed. Find a doubles partner, dress in your favorite team colors and join us for the Fast4 Tailgate Scrimmage at a facility near you!
Each level will have a 16-team draw and a shortened format that will get players on and off the court in less than 4 hours. The shortened format offers a “fast” alternative to tennis, with four points, four games, and four rules:
- No-ad scoring is used
- Service lets are played
- Tie-breaks are played at three games all
- The first to four games wins the set
There are two formats: round robin and compass draw. The round robin format teams will be broken into groups of four with winning teams moving on to semis and finals. The compass draw format teams will advance/retreat based on the outcome of the match.
All teams will be guaranteed at least three (3) matches and entry fee is no more than $25 per person.
All participants will receive a gift and prizes will be given to Most Spirited (i.e. best dressed team) at each level.
