Six Champions of Tennis awards go to Southerners
Three USTA Southern residents and three organizations were among the Racquet Sports Industry's winners in 23 categories for its 2019 Champions of Tennis Awards.

Southern winners were:
* Tennis Industry Service Award: Jolyn de Boer, Hilton Head Island, S.C.
* Tennis Sales Representative of the Year: Garry Ramey, Alpharetta, Ga.
* Municipal Tennis Facility of the Year: Rome Tennis Center at Berry College, Rome, Ga.
* Tennis Advocate of the Year: Paula Hale, Raleigh, N.C.
* Public Park of the Year: City Park/Pepsi Tennis Center, New Orleans, La.
* National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) Organization of the Year: MACH Academy, Augusta, Ga.
USTA Foundation Executive Director Dan Faber named “Person of the Year” for racquet sports industry-leading publication, while individuals and organizations from across the country are recognized in 23 additional categories.
